Cybersecurity Engineer

Provide technical network and cybersecurity engineering support for a business spanning the Asia Pacific region.

About the Role

We’re working with a well-established organisation looking for a hands-on Cybersecurity Engineer to help strengthen and maintain their security environment. This is a balanced role that combines practical technical work with monitoring, governance, and compliance. You’ll play a key part in protecting infrastructure, responding to security events, and supporting ongoing certification and audit requirements.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of experience who enjoys being close to the technology, while also understanding the bigger picture of risk and compliance.

What You'll Do

• Strengthen and maintain networks, firewalls, servers, and security tools to reduce risk and improve resilience

• Monitor security activity, investigate alerts, and support incident response and testing

• Work alongside IT and compliance teams to support ISO 27001 controls, audits, and certification processes

What You Bring

You’ll have around 3–5 years’ experience in a cybersecurity or security-focused infrastructure role, with a solid understanding of networking and system security.

Experience with security monitoring tools and working in a regulated or certified environment will be highly regarded.
