NOC Engineer

Our client develops, builds, and operates advanced digital infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region. They're building a sustainable digital ecosystem combining underseas connectivity, data centres, and value-added services for cloud and AI workloads.
 
Headquartered in Singapore, they have a talented team of around 50 employees, and growing, working in their offices in Singapore, Sydney, Auckland, Batam - Indonesia, and the USA.
 
This dual-function role blends Network Operations Centre (NOC) responsibilities with hands-on technical support in an operational telecommunications hub setting. You'll be the frontline for monitoring, troubleshooting, and provisioning connectivity services, while also executing on-site technical tasks to support connectivity infrastructure.
 
We're on the lookout for an ambitious junior or intermediate level candidate who will be involved in: 
 

NOC Operations

  • Monitor network and telecom systems using NMS platforms 

  • Act as L1/L2 contact for fault reports and service queries

  • Troubleshoot and escalate issues across transmission, routing, server, and security layers

  • Coordinate provisioning and service delivery with internal and external stakeholders

  • Maintain logs, incident reports, and operational documentation

  • Support engineering and project teams with diagnostics and implementation


Hands on Support 

Install, replace, and maintain servers, network modules, and structured cabling (copper/fibre), including patching, tracing, and labelling.

  • Perform physical troubleshooting, follow remote instructions for resets and log collection, and assist with carrier circuit testing and link validation.

  • Tag and audit equipment, update asset systems, coordinate shipments, and support hardware delivery, packaging, and disposal.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Degree in Telecommunications, IT, Electronics, or related field

  • CCNA, Network+, Fibre Optic Certs.. (preferred) 

  • 2+ years in NOC, data centre, or telecom support roles

    Hands-on experience with:

  • Network monitoring tools and ITSM platforms (e.g. Jira, ServiceNow)

  • IP networking (Cisco, Juniper), DWDM/SDH transmission systems

  • Fibre/copper cabling, patching, and testing (ODF, MMR, rack-to-rack)

  • Colocation environments (e.g. Equinix, TM One, NTT)
